About Comarch

Publisher, developer, and integrator of ERP and POS (Point of Sale) solutions, Comarch designs and deploys business management and checkout software packages, mainly intended for the Retail sector. Within the Delivery & Services department, your role is to ensure the successful implementation of our software and its long-term availability. To support our growth, we work with a network of partner integrators who act as implementers. Project management, methodology, and business/technical expertise remain at the heart of our teams.

The position is based at our Lezennes site (Lille metropolitan area).

The Challenge Ahead

Do you want to manage integration projects while maintaining a strong technical-functional dimension?

As a Consultant - Professional Services Consultant, you ensure the overall management of the project and guarantee the proper execution of the services entrusted to our partner integrators. You are the guarantor of compliance with the Comarch standard, the tracking of deliverables, and the expertise provided to the end customer. You scope the order, manage its implementation, and secure the entire value chain.

Missions

  • Project Management & Execution: Define the roadmap, place implementation orders with partner integrators, oversee their execution, and manage overall project governance (schedule, budget, scope, risk management). Execution of assigned projects (parameterization, configuration, implementation).

  • Technical & Functional Expertise: Act as the business and technical reference for our Retail solutions (ERP/POS). Translate end-client needs (store flux management, checkout processes, omnichannel strategies) and ensure that the delivery team adheres to the target architecture.

  • Quality Assurance & Acceptance Testing: Validate the compliance of developments and configurations performed by the partner prior to client delivery.

  • System Maintenance & Operational Readiness: Guarantee the longevity and ongoing availability of deployed solutions.

  • AI Industrialization & Adoption: Integrate artificial intelligence tools into your daily workflow — impact analysis, specification drafting and review, configuration checks, testing, documentation, and request handling. Identify automatable tasks within your projects and contribute to equipping the team: what you industrialize directly benefits the entire delivery team and future partners.

Occasional travel to client sites is to be expected.

Profil

  • Education & Experience: Holding an Engineering or Master's degree in Computer Science, you have at least two years of experience (with a software vendor, IT services company, or systems integrator) managing small-scale IT projects, providing technical and functional consulting, ideally with background in professional services. Experience in the retail sector is a plus.

  • Autonomy and adaptability

  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects end-to-end, set guidelines for third-party contributors (subcontractors/integrators), mitigate scope creep, and enforce project boundaries.

  • Business Acumen: Solid understanding of Retail business processes (ERP, POS checkout solutions, specialized retail, or mass retail).

  • Technical Background: Prior experience or strong technical foundation in development/integration within a Java environment, enabling effective communication with delivery teams.

  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, rigor, active listening, an eye for customer support, and a collaborative team mindset.
